The Climate of Parachinar

The climate of Parachinar in the northwestern mountains of Pakistan has an ideal balance between temperature and precipitation. In fact, the climate is so charming and charming that we can call it the land of eternal spring. The following lines give a brief description of the hydro- and thermal regime.

Conditions in the Summer:
Even in the hottest month of the summer, it is rare for the midday thermometer to exceed 95 F and average 77 F. This is a very pleasant temperature when compared to Peshawar in the plane. In Peshawar, it is common for the midday thermometer to exceed 115 F and the average of the hottest month to be 93 F. In fact, the height of Parachinar, which is about 6000 feet, keeps its temperature 15 to 20 F below the level.

The rainfall is noticeable and in no month from June to August falls less than 2 inches of rain. This is amazing, considering that the monsoon current does not reach this range.

Condition is Winter:
It is very interesting that the climate in Parachinar in winter is very mild due to its high altitude. The mean maximum remains around 50 F and the middle minimum around 30 F, so the average temperature is 40 F. If we compare it with Skardu in the northern mountains, with more or less the same height, we find that there is the middle Maximum is 36 F and the mean minimum is 18 F, the average temperature being 27 F; 13 degrees lower than Parachinar. In Parachinar the nocturnal low in winter rarely falls below 25 F, while in Skardu it is usual to record a temperature as low as 10 F at night.

The precipitation is due to Western riots and in any month from January to April precipitation falls below 2.5 inches. If we compare it with Peshawar, another western fault location, we find that only in the month of March more than 2 inches of rainfall are registered. In other winter months, one inch is measured. This is to be considered, since Peshawar gets the biggest precipitation in the winter months by western riots.

Spring and Autumn:
Spring and fall have such an ideal temperature that only a few places on earth can compete. The average high remains around 70 F and the average low during these months 55 F. The precipitation is also moderate, without a month less than one inch of precipitation receives.

In short, Parachinar has an ideal balance between temperature and precipitation and has one of the best climates in Pakistan.
